Jansen, 83, Elk Horn, sustained $1,000 damage when it struck two parked cars at Madison and Elm Sts. in Elk Horn. Reports said the Jensen vehicle turned northbound on Madison St. from Elm St and struck a 1993 Honda owned by Darrel E. Spence, Elk Horn, and a 1988 Pontiac driven by Randy P¢ldberg, Kimballton. Damages to the Spence and Poldberg vefi|les were estimated at $1,000. October 7 -- A 1995 Ford driven by Phyllis E. Hoffman, 53, Walnut, sustained an estimated $2,000 damage when it struck a deer on County Road M47 about three miles north of Walnut. October 6 -- A 1993 Chevy driven by Amy J. Meurer, 25, Hadan, sustained an unestimated amount of damage when it trav- eled into a ditch along Maple Road about two miles northeast of Corley. Reports said the vehicle was northbound, veered out of control and traveled into the ditch, com- ing to rest on its top. October 7 -- A 1983 Oldsmobile driven by Carl K. Parkhurst, 16, Avoca, sustained an estimated $900 damage when it struck a mailbox on County Road F66 about 1 1/2 miles northwest of Avoca. Reports said the vehicle was rounding a curve, a dog ran onto the roadway, the driver swerved the vehicle and hit the mailbox. Damage to the mailbox was estimated at $50. Vandalism -- Nancy E.
